Alma welcomes Camila very well. Pedro tries to break the formal atmosphere with Helena. Estela finds out that Camila is Helena's daughter, but Edu asks her not to tell Alma. Helena is anxiously waiting for her daughter to call her, especially after learning that she went out with Edu. Alma speaks ill of Helena, calling her “Edu's old girlfriend”, and Camila leaves the party crying. Miguel takes her home. Edu faces his aunt and shows all his hatred. Helena remembers the gypsy's predictions on New Year's Eve. Camila tells Zilda everything, but asks Helena to know nothing. Íris is determined to go to Rio de Janeiro. Pedro looks longingly at Helena, who doesn't give him a chance. Edu watches Camila sleeping.
