Sergio, the father of Eva and Rachele, shows up at the police station to report the poisoning of Moby Dick, the family dog. The inspector has long since closed relations with the man and this event only exacerbates tensions. Meanwhile, the investigation into Gioia's death continues and the prime suspect is Amir, a Moroccan boy, on whom there seems to be insufficient evidence.
