Ami Gido, a second-year student at Hinomori Academy junior high school, is the daughter of the owners of a Chinese restaurant in the downtown area. Since she was a little girl, she's watched her parents struggle to run the restaurant, and spends her days helping them. Unbeknownst to her, Haruka and Tamaki come into the store to prepare for the musical at the school cultural festival. A coincidence occurs when Haruka and Ami find themselves humming the same song. "This was totally destined!" Haruka is so impressed that she enthusiastically invites Ami to the musical, but Ami stubbornly refuses, saying that she has to help out with the shop. However, Ami has another problem that she can't tell anyone about.....
