Barbara Mccay is a divorced mother of three. She is trying to support them by waitressing, in the meantime she is still studying to become a court reporter. Then her life changes when she meets Rodger Gibbons - a widower with kids of his own, and a fortune. They start dating, and within a month are engaged!now Barbara's family is worried they won't be able to get along.
