The young musician Konstantin Lvov - a patient of the successful psychiatrist Lydia Larinova - became the doctor's lover in combination. However, Lydia quickly got bored of this relationship, and she tried to break the connection. But Konstantin insisted on the continuation of the novel and once, without an invitation, showed up to her for her birthday. Larinova chased away the unfortunate admirer, and a few days later he was found dead in his own recording studio.
