It is Bernice’s hen night. The women return to The Woolpack after a night out and are extremely drunk. Gloria dashes to the restroom to be sick. The women down tequila shots and engage in a game. They have a row of underpants belonging to various men of the village, and Bernice must guess who owns which pair. Bernice becomes uneasy as everyone begins discussing Carlos and goes upstairs to change her dress. Diane greets a young man named James, the stripper, at the back door and directs him to the kitchen to change. Gloria makes the decision to return home. Bernice, on the other hand, is staring into the mirror, looking miserable. The stripper informs Diane that this is his first time and he is unsure whether he can pull it off.
