Eleanor is recruiting staff for the New Eleon Hotel. Varya becomes an electrician. Katya quarrels with Denis, and together with her daughter Masha comes to her mother at the hotel to work as a cook. A ruined Djekovic comes to work here as a chief manager. The top manager of the culinary academy sets the condition for Barinov: either he will terminate the contract with Eleanor, or they will find a new rector of the academy. Barinov arrives at New Eleon.
