Episode dedicated to Frederick II, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire: always considered one of the most fascinating characters in European history, he was also considered by his (many) detractors even as "the Antichrist". A contradiction that seems to summarize his whole existence: capable of organizing a crusade and being excommunicated, of driving Muslims out of Sicily and of founding an Islamic city in Apulia.
