George Clarke's Old House, New Home
George Clarke's Old House, New Home
Margate & Worthing (4x6)
:
George travels to Margate, where Joanna and Simon have bought themselves a large Victorian semi-detached house, only to become overwhelmed by the refurbishment task ahead. He also visits a grand Georgian manor built in 1820 and frequented by King Edward VII. The Worthing property was divided into flats in the 1980s and it is in one of these that owners Charlie and Julie are wrestling with how to turn a big Regency reception room into contemporary living and dining space.
