A Washington state family faces a tricky house hunt while searching for a larger home in the Los Angeles area. Armed with good intentions and a sense of humor, they quickly jump into renovation projects but immediately see their to-do list grow rapidly. They may take it all in stride but an expensive structural surprise may require them to make some very hard decisions.
