Les is sinking into depression. Toyah tries to jolly him out of it. Karl Harper confirms the car-clocking arrangement with Tyrone - £200 per car. Tyrone tells Vera that he'll move out by the end of the week. Vera tells him that they don't want him to move out and she then has to tell him about Terry hiding in the allotment shed. Norris discovers the company that Emily dealt with has Richard Hillman listed as one of the directors and Patricia Hillman as the other. He raises his suspicions with Emily. Dennis calls to see Eileen. He offers her money but she throws it back in his face. Les calls to Eileen hoping for mutual sympathy but he's shocked when Eileen tells him that had he been a better husband then Janice would never have left him for Dennis.
