Todd thinks that Candice is seeing someone else as she's always too busy to see him. He confronts Candice and she explains that she is working illegally in a factory. Tyrone calls to see Maria to try and patch things up to find that she's gone on holiday to Spain. Charlie pretends that she's not bothered about her real mother's rejection. She is actually deeply affected and gets very drunk. She is seen falling over in the street by Candice and Todd. Dev breaks Deirdre's specs and she has to wear her old pair from the 1970s.
