Maik is planning the decisive coup: he wants to exchange the original monstrance for the cheap copy from his church during the Corpus Christi procession, before the valuable item goes back into the locker for a year. All he has to do is persuade his Läuterberg community to come with him to neighbouring Frankenthal. But after the debacle in the cup final against Frankenthal, it's not so easy.
