Nellie Harvey shows off her new Mini and shocks Annie by telling her she's passed her test. Albert demands money from Bertha Lumley but she refuses to give him any. Emily gets a job as an orderly at the hospital. She tells Ernie that they also need a porter but he refuses to apply.
