Misaki hopes to be seen as cute by Chiaki, but her feelings are crushed during the wedding party — especially after witnessing him kiss Kaede. Kanata comforts her by taking her on a boat ride to acknowledge her efforts, hinting at a growing closeness. However, once SeaSons returns to normal operations, Kanata goes back to being cold, frustrating Misaki. Meanwhile, at another restaurant, a girl named Manami questions a staff member about someone named "Takumi" and leaves abruptly after meeting Touma. Later, Kaede visits SeaSons and chats with Chiaki, making Misaki anxious. Urged by Kanata to ask about their relationship, Misaki overhears Kaede inviting Chiaki out for drinks. When Chiaki includes her in the invite, Misaki declines, overwhelmed by jealousy and disappointment.
