Karsten, a high-brow film director, premieres his new film Veni Vidi Vici, which is a flop. Unable to find any work in the film industry, he receives a call from Vincent, an old movie producer friend, who offers him a directing role on his new project; little does Karsten know that Vincent is working in the porn industry.

Karsten is working at an abattoir owned by his wife Jonna's father. Meanwhile, Vincent visits two Brothers, who inform him he owes them €100,000.

Karsten meets Vincent about working with him, deciding on the alias Topper Harvey and negotiating a salary. Karsten’s father-in-law conspires against him, asking one of his employees to find out what he is up to.

After a pitching and casting process, Karsten and the team shoot a film in a pool at a house Jonna is selling as an estate agent. Meanwhile, Vincent is still is hot water with local mobsters.

Ville, an employee of Karsten's father-in-law, has been tasked to find out what Karsten is up to, and begins trailing him.

Karsten and Jonna have sex for the first time in a long while. Meanwhile, Vincent still needs to pay back the Brothers, and is tasked with a very unusual heist.

Vincent watches the edit of Karsten's movie and calls it a ‘masterpiece’, but Karsten starts to think that Vincent has something to do with his life falling apart.

Karsten goes to the premiere of his film, and is disappointed to learn that someone else has taken credit for his work. Afterwards, police raid his studio during the afterparty.

Karsten and Vincent are pursued by the Brothers, and end up facing a tough choice if they want to come out alive.
