Viola and Luma are born on the same day. Marcel takes Viola, abandoned by her mother, home. Luma is Cecília's heir, who dies giving birth to her daughter. Molina and Mércia plan to remove Luma's biological father, with an eye on the child's fortune. 12 years have passed. Mavi is impressed by Viola, seeing her doing acrobatics at the traffic lights. In Angra dos Reis, Molina fears that Luma's relationship with Rudá could hinder his plans. Rudá and Luma make a love pact. After a few years in Paris, Luma returns to Brazil, much to Molina's despair. Luma tells Rudá that she came back to marry him. Moema reminds Rudá that the woman in his life is yet to arrive.
