It has been five years and Nanba Yurika has yet to let go of her memories with her ex-boyfriend, Saito Makoto. Due to several conflicts at her previous workplace, Yurika lands a new job in real estate instead. At the same time, Makoto also happens to reappear.

Yurika's trial period is about to end but she is not performing well. Facing the risk of not getting hired, Yurika tries her best to not disappoint her boss, Makoto and most of all, herself. "There is someone out there willing to choose you," Yurika is assured.

Hiromi is frustrated with Yurika for not being honest with her true feelings. After successfully closing a sale with the help of Makoto, Yurika bravely confesses to him. Now, Makoto is forced to confront his own inner feelings.

Sakura takes Yurika on a trip to visit the spots depicted in her novels. While Yurika is enthralled with the memorable locations, Sakura tells her that it is more like a funeral for her memories. Both ex-boyfriend manias realize that it is time to put the past to rest and start taking control of their own fate.

The women, each with their own problematic past relationships, visit a hot spring to hopefully rediscover themselves. Yurika wants to help Mr. Yamashita and Mugi by writing a different story from her own, but Mugi calls her out for her contradicting statements. There is no right answer to their problems.

Makoto suddenly becomes the person in charge to find the ideal apartment for Kakeru, Yurika's present boyfriend. Kakeru presses all the right buttons to agitate Makoto and spur him to act on his true feelings. Meanwhile, Mugi and Sakura both take a step forward in rekindling their old love.

Sakura is one of the winner of 2019's Luckiest Women. In order to celebrate this, Yurika throws her a party. Sakura wants it to be epic, like those she sees in foreign series. Some people she doesn't know are invited, including Chizuru. Will Chizuru cause trouble for Mugi and Yama at the party?

Yurika and Makoto are taking a big step by preparing to move in together. However, Yurika starts to doubt her feelings. Mugi and Sakura's relationships is making her wonder if she truly loves Makoto, or is it just an attachment to the past

It is time to put a full stop in several stories and write new chapters instead. Sakura wraps up her love story with the final chapter of her book series. While Mr. Yamashita chooses uncertainty over stability, and strives for the things he loves. As for Yurika, she realizes that she is still a mania at heart.
