On 30 July 2011, El Bulli - winner of five editions of the award for the best restaurant in the world - closed its doors to become a Foundation in 2014. Its chef, Ferran Adrià, served a last and spectacular dinner, accompanied by today's best chefs in the world.

It gathers the testimonies of artists, museum directors and curators who, for the first time, reflect on the position of avant-garde cuisine in the world of modern art.

The exhibition promoted by Palau Robert on the history of elBullirestaurante makes us reconsider the initial project to extend the mission of the future foundation to the preservation of the legacy and spirit of elBulli. The universe elBulli, Ferran Adrià, Juli Soler, Albert Adrià continues to spread the myth and manages to transcend the world of gastronomy to the world of innovation.

In three years of work, the proposal of elBullifoundation is concretized in 3 pillars: Sapiens (the methodology of elBullifoundation), LaBulligrafía (the visitbale archive) and elBulli1846 (a space in Cala Monjtoi to study and explore the efficiency of the creative process).
