Tua Sarunyu Wongkrajang has been active as an actor and moderator since 1984. Since 1998, he has also moved on to direct and produce several dramas. Recently, he is also active in political activities.
He completed his high school at Suankularb Wittayalai School Batch 92 and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Architecture from Chulalongkorn University. He didn't pursue his architect career. The architecture faculty's acting club introduced him to acting. During his college years, he took many leading roles in "Lakorn 'Tapat" or Faculty of Architecture Stage plays and some stage plays of Faculty of Arts as well.
He starred in over 100 movies, TV and stage dramas, but the peak of his career was during the 80s and 90s, with several hit TV drama series. Legendary Mon Rak Look Thoong which became the 3rd most-watched TV drama of all time in Thailand with viewership rating of 36%. He won a Mekhala Award for Best Actor for his role in Tawipop.
As he aged, he switched to directing. Under Saman Karn Lakorn company, he directed, screen-wrote and produced many TV dramas for Channel 7.
He died on 10 June 2020 due to liver cancer at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital.
