Poppy Liu is a bilingual, first generation Chinese American actress who brings her identity as a migrant queer person of the API diaspora into art and entertainment. Poppy’s film/TV career began in 2018 with guest appearances on “New Amsterdam,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” and “Better Call Saul.” In 2019, for her first pilot season, Poppy landed the series regular role of Mei Lin on the NBC series “Sunnyside” starring alongside Kal Penn.
