The 1953 kidnap of six-year-old Bobby Greenlease, the son of a multi-millionaire Missouri car dealer. He was abducted from his school and shortly afterwards shot dead by drug-addicted alcoholics Carl Hall and Bonnie Heady, who issued a ransom for $600,000 after the murder had been carried out. Though the pair were readily caught, much of the money was never recovered
