Carmen decides to talk to Anton. She's convinced he's the one who sent the blackmailer after her. She hands the gangster a bag of cash and demands he leave her family alone. The Russian rejects Majewska's offer of protection money and proposes a deal. In exchange for her cooperation, he'll guarantee her and her children's safety. Carmen refuses – she knows Anton is ruthless and shouldn't be trusted. Meanwhile, the police arrive at the house again. Paweł Żaryn continues searching for the flash drive and evidence of the Rota family's criminal activities. At the last minute, Franek saves the day with a clever ploy to save his mother. Anton doesn't let up. He sends Bronek to bring Carmen to a secluded location for a meeting. Upon returning, Carmen realizes she can trust no one – not even her closest friends.
