Paulina is shocked to discover that she has been named executor of her son Emiliano's will, inheriting Jason's entire fortune. Overwhelmed by the news and burdened by years of secrets, she doesn't hesitate to seek out her son's true father to confess the truth she's kept hidden for so long. Through tears, Checo confesses to Circe that he carries an impossible guilt: his mother lost her life because of him. Torn by remorse, he admits he doesn't have the strength to reveal the truth to his family. Bill contacts Paulina to inform her that he's willing to meet Emiliano, but first wants to take a DNA test to confirm his paternity. Emiliano plays an audio recording in which he hears Aidé begging Tino to reveal the whole truth. Devastated, he discovers that the man who has been with him his entire life and by his side through his most difficult times is not his biological father.
