Her fears are confirmed but she keeps it together in public, only to crack when she learns Lucas took professionally beautiful photographs of Nell. Upset that he hasn’t taken anything similar of Patrick, Vanessa demands Lucas explain why. He can’t, leaving Vanessa upset and him guilty.
