Ken Kanzaki, a detective from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Special Investigation Division, was assigned to guard a party for the large corporation Zaizen Konzern. However, a robot appears there with the aim of assassinating the Zaizen family. Ken saves Jun, the only son of Chairman Zaizen, but falls seriously ill. However, his brave actions are noticed and he returns as a cyborg detective, Metal Jack.
