He celebrates the news and reiterates that his entire fortune will pass into his hands when he sees him start a family. Valentín accepts in front of Perla that he loves her, and she doesn't hesitate to reiterate that she feels the same way. Valentín assures Perla that he can't betray his friend Pascual, which is why he sees her as a “forbidden woman”. Perla confesses to Brisa that she can't go on with Pascual now that she knows how Valentín feels about her.
