Ofelia sneaks into the Portilla mansion to make Paula pay for Valeria's humiliation. The doctor informs her that Luis's heart attack has left him in a state from which he may not recover. Camila insults Mar and slaps her, but they end up fighting. Mar refuses to spend any more time with Valeria, as she relies on the support of her new friend Paula. Leonardo turns Mar in for poisoning his father.
