Gabriela realizes that everything Leonor says is just manipulation to make them obey her without a doubt. Tomás visits Gabriela willing to take her home, knowing that Leonor would never dare to show her evil in front of her granddaughters. Leonor assures Gabriela that Jaime is the only one to blame for the economic problems that the factory has been suffering. Taking advantage of Jaime's birthday, Andrés asks Tomás to stop risking his life fighting against Leonor.
