Leonor accuses Eva of having started the fire that claimed her grandfather's life in order to blame her for the attack on Tomás's offices. Magdalena insists to Emilio to see if it is known what percentage of Jaime's fortune is due to her according to his will. Leonor takes advantage of Eva's nerves to torture her with matches so that she goes crazy and accepts that she has done much harm to the family. Dolores manages to convince Tomás that the fire is nothing more than revenge by the San José family for the death of Beatriz.
