In the gym they find the body of the athlete Filippov. At first glance, everything looks like an accident, but a more detailed examination shows that Filippov was killed. Opera begin an investigation. Under suspicion is the coach Prokhorov, who is hiding. Cuba finds out that Filippov was associated with the activities of organized crime groups under the leadership of a certain Buza. But getting to the killers is not so easy.
