The police, together with Raul, Sandra, and Monica, save Paula from being sexually assaulted. Raul swears to the governor that Erwin and Fritz won't see the light of the day again and will be rotted in prison. Cecille tells Anton that Esperanza and Robbie are now lovers. He then proceeds to talk to Esperanza about it.
