While the corpse of a young man was found on the quays, Caesar accompanied his mother to the opening of an exhibition by design star Peter Breck. There, he discovers with amazement that Élise Beaumont is the designer's wife. A young woman dies during the evening. Apparently, she fell down the escalator. Following a visit from the sister of the first victim, Wagner understands that the two deaths are linked. Together with his team, he tries to understand what brings the two crimes together, apart from the world of design and decorative arts.
