During a conversation with Madeleine, Irma ends up confessing to her sister that she slept with José Leôncio. Madeleine accuses Irma of being a traitor. Tadeu defends Guta when he catches Tenório mistreating his own daughter. Tadeu declares his love to Guta and the two end up loving each other.
