Unusually cheerful, Adel tells Dayan about his encounter with Ariane and takes the opportunity to ask her what he thinks of her. Inviting her to make the connection between his dysfunctional relationship and that of his parents, Dayan brings him back to his own torments. Troubled, the policeman tells him about a photo found at his father's house.
