The lives of Leo, Jonas, Emma, Alex, Toni and Hugo are fundamentally different from those of their peers. While other teenagers go to school or meet friends, they have to spend a long time in hospital. Their illnesses are different, but they are united by the attempt to have as normal a youth as possible in this situation. This includes night-time forays through the hospital as well as their first great love.
