Noucha and Stan narrowly survived the attack by the killer, Travis. It becomes clear to them that the pill the lab technician was investigating is the key to solving the case. The medical company sought to cover up a failed experiment at any cost. Dries finally comes clean to Esther and contributes to tracking down Travis. However, when Esther is acquitted, Dries faces the threat of losing his job.
