Germany - Plauen to Konigstein Castle (3x8)

:

This journey begins at the southern reaches of Saxony heading toward the historic city of Leipzig. It's then on to Colditz Castle, the infamous World War II prison. To the south lie the Ore Mountains, whose silver deposits once brought great wealth to the town of Freiberg. Joining the great River Elbe at Meissen, follow it upstream to the capital of Saxony, Dresden. From the splendid Baroque gardens at Gross Sedlitz, head to Saxon Switzerland National Park that so inspired the German romantic painters. The journey ends at the biggest mountain fortress in Europe, Konigstein Castle.
