Philharmonia
Episode 1 (1x1)
:
After 20 years of absence, Hélène Barizet, brilliant conductor with atypical methods, is back in Paris to take the lead of the Philharmonia, a national orchestra reputed to be a "killer of conductors". The Maestro, determined to transmit her passion and save the orchestra in turmoil, faces hostility from the management and Yvan Borowski, the representative of the musicians, openly opposed to his appointment. Hélène chooses Selena Rivière, a young tuttist from the third row, whom she calls first violin, to help replace her father’s old friend Vladimir Gregoriu. But how do you transmit when all you want is to break from your past? Returning home, Hélène faces the family curse that forced her into exile.
