A homeless man makes a gruesome discovery: in a garbage can, he discovers a naked male corpse with a stab wound in the chest. Brandtner and his team identify the dead man as the top model Marc Rainhard and shortly afterwards make a surprising discovery: It was not the stab wound that led to Marc's death - he was already dead when he was stabbed. Rainhard died of a methadone overdose. Are Brandtner and Rex dealing with a murderer who wanted to be on the safe side, or are they two perpetrators who killed without knowing about each other?
