Tenali Rama puts forth a request before Krishnadevaraya that he should be allowed to come late to the darbar as Shardha is pregnant. Krishnadevaraya is pleased to hear the news. But, Tattacharya is displeased. Tattacharya thinks Tenali Rama is lying and decides to find out.
