In Shanghai, Won Bong and Kim Gu listen to Yun Bong Gil, a vegetable merchant, who plans to strike Japan during a war victory celebration held at Hongkou Park, Shanghai. Meanwhile, Fukuda deduces that the Heroic Corps and Kim Gu's spy are in Shanghai.
