Tension is at an all-time high between Mack and Katy when he begs her to take a DNA test to determine the paternity of the baby. Working on the book is drawing Caitríona and Colm closer together, much to Colm's delight. A spark is evident between the two, and when Colm conveniently 'forgets' his keys to John Joe's, he manages to score a night on Caitríona's couch! A gleeful Tadhg is led to believe that something is going on between Máire and Peatsaí when he spots Peatsaí handing her a bunch of flowers.
