The Black Forest Murders

The Lauburg police station start the search for Stefanie Berghoff, a woman from Buchingen, 17 hours after she goes missing.

Despite investigators working at full speed, they yield few results. As the villagers start growing increasingly nervous, a second murder rocks the region.

While the Schora case is solved, the Berghoff case remains open. However, investigators find parallels between the Berghoff case and an unsolved Austrian murder from four years ago.

After more than 100 days of work, the team alternates between fatigue and determination. Just as Barbara Kramer learns that the task force is to be disbanded, they manage to identify a truck make and identify a suspect.
