Queen of the World

Documentary examining the Queen's role on the global stage and the baton she is passing to the younger members of the Royal Family as they continue to build the Commonwealth connection. Featuring cine footage from the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh's private film archives and treasures of the Royal Collection, cameras focus on her early years as Head of the Commonwealth.

The final episode goes behind the scenes to capture the moment the Queen awards a knighthood, films a personal audience she holds with three Commonwealth young leaders and follows the staff at Buckingham Palace as the Queen prepares to host an historic summit for all 53 leaders of the Commonwealth, the first time such an event has been held in London for thirty years.
