How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria (Canada)

The experts (who become the judges later in the series) see thousands of girls to whittle it down to 50 girls who attend the Maria School where they are trained in the art of the musical.

Of the 50 girls that went to Maria School, it is down to 20. The 20 lucky girls get to perform at the prestigious London Palladium. From their performances, the judges select 10 lucky finalists who will have a chance to be THE Maria.

In the first live broadcast from Toronto, we get to meet the 10 finalists as they are introduced to Canada.

After the votes are in from throughout Canada, two of the finalists are put on the chopping block. Who will be saved?

The nine remaining finalists perform in a live broadcast. The theme of the night is songs who tell a story.

The two lowest scoring finalists are in jeopardy once again. Which one will stay, which one will go? Only Simon Lee can decide.
