Officers work to keep drunken belligerence at bay during the annual Miles City horse sale known as "Cowboy Mardi Gras." Elsewhere, a rescue squad searches for a missing family of four; and an armed felon with a known meth addiction is apprehended by police.

Police receive an anonymous tip that a woman is carrying 90 lbs. of methamphetamine in her van, endangering her two small children. Meanwhile, in the small town of Darby, Mont., the police chief uses hidden cameras to track down a stolen gun.

Sgt. Munter pursues a burglary suspect on foot, with help from the K-9 unit, after a convenience store is robbed at gunpoint. Also: Sightings of a wolf-dog hybrid are reported; and a van goes up in flames on the highway.

The first snowstorm of the season hits Montana, and officers respond to head-on collisions and reports of hunters lost on a mountain in whiteout conditions.
