THANKFULLY, season two provided the perfect opportunity by being the exact opposite of everything from season one, setting up an incredibly useful contrasting example for all my favorite parts! I was going to do a different video this week, but the The Last of Us Season 2 came out, and rather than stay mostly ok like the first season they decided on the bold direction of writing really shallow dialogue, so I thought now would be a great time to talk about how dialogue is just another character choice!

I was going to do a different video this week, but the The Last of Us Season 2 keeps coming out, and it's all very relevant to the whole conversation of writing women I'll eventually get to, and also I saw an excuse to finally share my unpopular opinions on my favorite Spider-Man movies, so here we go!

The Last of Us season 2 coincided perfectly with my video on writing women and allowed me to voice some thoughts that have been building for years. I hope it's valuable as advice on how to write women in addition to being a fun takedown of overcredited male writers.

For a nice change of pace, I decided to talk about some movies I actually like, including The Beauty and the Beast, Shrek, Penelope, and Turning Red, so spoiler warning for those if you haven't seen them - if you struggle with keeping a consistent theme in your writing, hopefully some of these tips will help!
