Bangladeshi sisters Maria and Sumayya hope to win over diners with their traditional recipes passed down from grandma, while dads John and Jonny try to bring their family-friendly food to the public but buckle under the pressure of cooking to order. Best friends Paola and Aless think their top-quality ingredients will make their Italian food stand out from the crowd, but haven't considered their costs.

The teams from Old Dhaka Kitchen, the Tiny Italian Kitchen, and Dad's Canteen compete to win a place in the final by satisfying 50 diners in the last day of the heat.

Three new pairs of cooks, Geordie friends Ashley and Gary, sisters Catherine and Sarah, and couple Arif and Riccardo, compete for a place in the final.

The second heat of the week sees the three teams competing to impress the 50 diners - and for sisters Sassy and Ginger, this means taking on the challenge of cooking steak to order.

It's final night in the Food Arena as the two winning pairs from the heats now go head to head, cooking more dishes than ever before and selling to double the number of diners. At stake is the chance to try running their own business at one of the UK's busiest food arenas.
