In this pre-season episode Marciel meets the ten single farmers looking for a wife. On their farms, she finds out some of what they are looking for in a life partner. Viewers get to vote for their favourites.

Marciel once again visits all ten farmers to get to know a little more about them, their farms, their wishes, and their hopes for the future.

Marciel heads out to deliver the prospective match letters to the farmers. The five farmers with the most letters will qualify to go forward, and within 24 Hours, must choose 10 matches who they will meet in the Cape.

From all over South Africa, the matches make a short visit with the farmer of their choice. Each of them get exactly five minutes to talk with their farmer match, in a surprise location, after which five of them are chosen.

With a bit more time to spend with each match, the farmers get to know them better. Then each must choose three women to spend a week on the farm.

The matches arrive on the farms. On each farm they will live and work with the farmer that chose them and see if there are any developments between them.

The farmers take their matches on an adventure away from the farm to see if any relationships will grow. Some surprising news catches the farmers of guard.

Marciel sends the matches off on their own adventure while the farmers consider the last few days experiences, because there will shortly need to be some difficult decisions made.

After a few more days on the farm, another one of the matches must leave. Tensions run high when certain things come to light.

With Only two matches per farm left, the farmers invite family and friends to a braai so that their opinions can be heard.

It is the last full day on the farm and the tension is high because there are more choice to be made, The remaining two family braais take place

It is time for the final difficult decision for each of the farmers, and they must choose the person they think might just become a life partner.

It is time for each of the farmers to meet their chosen one's family and friends, and no doubt hope that if all goes well, there may be a happy future together

The Farmers and their matches go on a holiday. During this time they can get to know their matches away from the farm, and away from family and friends.

All ten farmers come together for the first and last time. The final installment of the season explores the experiences of the farmers and who actually did find love, and a possible future wife.
